To bridge the gap between the demand and supply of Apple Watch, the Cupertino giant has launched a new Reserve & Pickup service in U.K, Europe and Australia. The Apple wearable had to be available in the stores by May and it seems that the company is making up for the delay by offering reservation on select variants. Till now, the Apple Watch was exclusively available online and not in stores.
This also means that Apple doesn’t want its customers to go to stores while the availability is still dicey. Through this Reserve & Pickup system, customers can pick and book a model with desired combination of band and case. There is certain timeframe in which customer is expected to go and have a look at it at the nearest Apple Store before making the payment. If you don’t, the model becomes available for others to pick. You can only book one Apple Watch at a time.
