Pokemon Go Plus: The world can’t seem to get enough of Pokemon Go. For people who don’t want to look into their smartphones while playing the game, there’s a wearable coming up your way. The wearable connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and notifies users about events in the game, using a LED and vibration. The only catch is, it’s hard to get.

Pokemon Go Plus Release Date:

The original release date for “Pokemon Go” Plus was anticipated to occur at the end of July. However, Niantic Labs announced on their official website that the Pokemon Go Plus is going to be available for purchase next week, on September 16. The company announced that the device would be available in most countries next month and a few South American territories later in the year.

Pokemon Go Plus Price:

In the post, Niantic writes that users can now “enjoy your walk, run, hike, park trips or visits to the library without having to look at your screen all the time.” Each Pokemon Go Plus device will cost $30.

Pokemon Go Plus Compatibility:

iOS: Compatible with iPhone 5 / 5c / 5s / SE / 6 / 6s /6 Plus / 6s Plus devices with iOS Ver. 8–9 installed.

  • Not compatible with 5th generation iPod Touch devices or iPhone 4S or earlier iPhone devices.
  • Compatibility with tablet devices is not guaranteed.
  • Compatibility is not guaranteed for all devices.

Getting yourself a Pokemon Go Plus is going to be difficult, according to Bustle. The wearable should be available on Amazon, GameStop and eBay. But most pre-orders have quickly sold out. Amazon’s Pokemon Go Plus page continues to be listed as unavailable. What you can do is subscribe to the mailing list.
