Misfit has introduced the world’s first tracker that can keep a track on swimming, sleeping habits and activity. This versatile tracker from Misfit is dubbed as Speedo Shine and as anybody could have guessed, it utilizes Speedo’s Aqualab Testing to provide accurate results of lap counts and swim distance for all stroke types.
Touted to be the first-of-its-kind swimming wearable, it can be worn in-and-out water. It can also track light and deep sleeping patterns. You can track activities like running, cycling walking and stress management as well.
Made of IAL Anodized aircraft-grade aluminum, the Misfit Speedo Shine is waterproof up to 50 m and runs on a coin cell battery. The latter implies that you steer clear of battery drain for about 6 months. You can sport the wearable as a wrist band, clip or pendant. At 27.5 x 3.3 x 27.5mm, this wearable is lightweight and connects over Bluetooth 4.1. It is compatible with Android 4.3 or above, iPod Touch 5, iPad 3, 4, iPad Air, iPad Mini and iPhone 4S, 5, 5C and 5S with iOS 7 or higher.
